Before Stratum Construction became a reality, our founder spent years on the front lines of the paving and construction industry. Through hands-on experience on the tools and equipment, he gained a deep appreciation for the incredible results achieved when a team works with precision and dedication. He also identified a significant opportunity to improve the client experience by prioritizing transparency and genuine partnership over the traditional industry status quo.

Shifting the Foundation

We realized that for a project to be truly successful, the client needs to feel empowered and informed. We decided to build a company where the owner’s vision and budget are collaborated with the project needs and the primary drivers of every decision.

The name Stratum was chosen to represent the layers of a solid foundation. For us, the most critical layer of any project isn't the gravel or the asphalt—it is the trust established between the builder and the owner. We approach every project diligently, openly, and with an educational mindset.
